To be completely clear: the "AI" in AI Image Resizer reflects the product category the tool belongs to — the name people search for — not the technology inside it. The tool performs standard mathematical image resampling in your browser, using well-known scaling techniques built into every modern browser. It does not implement machine learning, AI enhancement, super-resolution or any other model-based processing, and no such claims are made anywhere on this site. Shrinking an image merges existing pixels; enlarging an image interpolates between them and cannot create real detail. Accuracy of results
The output of the tool depends entirely on your input files and the settings you choose. Resizing always involves trade-offs: downscaling discards pixels, upscaling cannot restore detail that was never captured, and lowering the quality setting for JPG or WebP exports introduces compression artifacts. Colors can shift slightly during format conversion, and very large images may be limited by your browser's or device's memory. Always check the preview before downloading, and — above all — keep your original files. The tool never modifies your source image, but it also cannot recover a result you have overwritten elsewhere.
